Hybrid Self Portrait.
I used Adobe photoshop to create and edit this piece. The purpose of this activity was to get familiar with the photoshop application and use the principles/elements of design in digital art. I am most proud of the creativity and use of texture in my piece. It is also my first time doing digital art, so I am proud of myself for trying new forms of art. I used the element of texture by including ripped paper. The ripped paper has ridges and form. I used asymmetrical balance in my piece by making both sides look different yet still balanced on both sides of the center . In the upper left I have a book page and on the right side I have some orange text and the orange trees in the background. I can improve my ability to use Photoshop to create pieces that are more detailed and cleaner.

I am most proud of the contrast and depth I created in both photos.

The purpose of this activity was to learn how to use shutter speed to capture photos with motion in different ways specifically Action sharp and motion blur. I am most proud of my Action sharp photo of my friend as she is taking a step but i was able to get a photo of the movement with very little blur.
